Job summary

Rebo is seeking a Machinist for the 2nd shift to operate and maintain tooling, fixtures, and samples for our manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes plastic injection molds and precision fabrication.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years in a machine shop, and experience with mold maintenance/repair. We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Five years of experience in a machine shop.
• Experience in plastic injection molding and mold maintenance/repair.
• Ability to set up and operate conventional vertical milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, vertical EDM and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of traditional machine shop equipment to repair, maintain, and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and samples in support of manufacturing operations with a heavy emphasis on plastic injection molds.
• Maintain a safe working attitude, follow safety rules, and promote a safe culture throughout the facility.
• Must work with little or no supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings.
• Fabricate parts with a high level of accuracy while holding tight tolerances.
• Perform tool repairs and preventative maintenance at regular intervals.
• Support design and fabrication of jigs and fixtures in support of manufacturing operations.
• Assemble and de-bug tools and fixtures for production area.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES

• You have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• You have five (5) years of experience in a Machine Shop environment.
• You haveformal education or training in a related technical field.
• Have experience in plastic injection molding, mold maintenance/repair, and related manufacturing processes.
• Able to safely set-up and operate conventional vertical milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, vertical EDM and other shop related equipment.
