Electro Switch Business Trust in Rockland, MA, seeks a Machine Shop Supervisor to lead the second shift. You will supervise machinists, assign daily work, train staff, and coordinate with the first shift to ensure a smooth handoff of priorities and issues.

The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of manual machining and basic CNC adjustments, plus problem solving to set up tools, review routings, and support production.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related machine shop experience.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of manual machining and setup.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and shop routings.
• ERP experience and general computer skills.
• Availability to work second shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise second-shift machine shop employees and prioritize daily work.
• Coordinate with first-shift supervisor for handoffs and priorities.
• Provide hands-on support for machine setups and basic CNC adjustments.
• Review routings, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain tooling inventory and support tooling purchases.
• Participate in hiring, reviews, and employee development.
• Uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards.
