Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot one assigned machine in a fast-paced environment. You will follow work orders, ensure product quality, and assist with other equipment as needed on the shop floor.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to operate a sit-down forklift, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Overtime and weekend hours may be required on occasion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, thread material, and operate one machine independently.
• Follow daily work orders and note any specifics.
• Assist with operation of other machinery under supervision.
• Assist with end-of-line packaging as needed.
• Band and palletize metal coils/sheets and label finished products.
• Perform quality checks for lengths, widths, and weights using proper tools.
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety standards.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and inspect equipment daily.
