Job summary

Carlisle Companies Incorporated in Hillsboro, TX is seeking a Machine Operator to operate machinery in the production line and assist higher-level operators on packing and end-of-line tasks. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, communicating material needs, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Candidates should be safety-minded, detail-oriented, and able to follow COS initiatives to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow Carlisle policies, procedures, and processes.
• Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Basic math and use of measuring devices; ability to use a calculator.
• Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery of assigned department to complete assigned work order.
• Receives and reviews work orders.
• Communicates the required amount of material needed to perform tasks to other departments.
• Continuous observation of machine operation to ensure optimal performance.
• Performs hazard-based functions on machinery, including lock out/tag out and daily equipment inspection.
• Stacks, sorts, and bundles material according to department standards.
• Occasional housekeeping tasks and 5S/SQDC involvement.
• Records data of manufactured material for quality control and improvement.
