Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Second Shift Leader and CNC Machine Operator. This position requires overseeing a 4-5 person shift while actively participating in the production process as a working foreman. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, technical proficiency in operating CNC machines, and the ability to learn and operate large band saws, multi-spindle drills, and oxy-fuel coping machines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership: Lead a team of 4-5 individuals during the second shift, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.
2. Supervision: Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members, including training and development as needed.
3. Production Operation: Operate CNC machines efficiently to meet production goals and quality standards.
4. Machine Operation: Learn and master the operation of large band saws, multi-spindle drills, and oxy-fuel coping machines.
5. Quality Assurance: Monitor production output to ensure accuracy, precision, and compliance with specifications.
6. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
7. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Proven experience in CNC machine operation, including familiarity with large band saws, multi-spindle drills, and oxy-fuel coping machines.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
