Job summary

Teknor Apex Company in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, is hiring for a second shift Lab Technician to support the Pilot Plant and polymer testing program. You will perform basic tasks, assist with quality control, and enter data into the lab system.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and communication with Supervisors and colleagues.
• Prefer 1+ year of relevant experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Capable of basic arithmetic.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Will work with Corporate Pilot Plant Lab team through all stages of polymer blend sample production: compounding, blending, Banbury mixing, extrusion mixing, milling, pelletizing, packaging, and quality control testing.
• Tests in accordance with specifications provided with assistance.
• Once trained, perform all core functions/testing required by this position.
• Enter test data and conditions into the lab system.
