Job summary

Teknor Apex is hiring for a Pilot Plant position in Rhode Island. You will join the Corporate Pilot Plant Lab team to support the polymer blend sample production process, including compounding, blending, Banbury mixing, extrusion, milling, and QC testing.

Essential duties emphasize adherence to safety and procedures, data entry, and collaboration with supervisors and colleagues. Required: high school diploma or GED, basic arithmetic and English reading/writing, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic and data entry skills required.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Teamwork and communication with supervisors and colleagues preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tasks in line with lab and safety procedures.
• Enter test data and conditions into the lab system.
• Support Pilot Plant production activities: compounding, blending, Banbury mixing, extrusion, milling, pelletizing, packaging and QC testing.
