Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend English and confidence with basic math.
• Comfort operating—or willingness to learn—forklifts and electric hand trucks.

Responsibilities

• Master the Line 4 Blending area and flex to other assignments when needed.
• Verify TA item code numbers, lot numbers, and raw material weights before any charge.
• Clean and inspect the blender so it’s ready to accept the next compound charge.
• Stage all required raw materials and record staged lot numbers on the batch card.
• Charge every hand-add exactly per the blender batch card.
• Alert supervision to any variation from procedure and document it on the batch card.
• Coordinate blender production with adjacent operations to maintain steady flow.
• Follow the production schedule and customer packaging instructions—ensure each unit is packed, labeled, weighed, and sealed; escalate schedule or instruction concerns to the Bagger Leadman.
• Generate labels and align/affix them neatly to the package container.
• Execute fast, clean packaging changeovers using all required safety equipment; confirm completion with mill area operators.
• Stage future-shift packaging materials (Gaylords, Supersacks, etc.).
• Scan and enter finished product into the computer system promptly and accurately.
• Uphold housekeeping standards, wear required PPE, hit or surpass plant KPIs, and contribute to Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
