Job summary

Orion Global Talent is seeking a hands-on Injection Molding Technician for a Vermont client, a Best Place to Work with an empowered, team-centric culture. This second shift role focuses on setup, operation, troubleshooting, and process optimization of molding machines to meet quality standards.

You'll collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production, perform preventive maintenance, document results, and support continuous improvement while maintaining safety and reliable production.

Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding processes and tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and processes.
• Good communication and teamwork in a production setting.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work overtime or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding machines and molds.
• Monitor process parameters and maintain product quality using SPC/SQC techniques.
• Perform preventative maintenance, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and production issues.
• Maintain accurate production and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure efficient operations.
