Job summary

Ventura Foods seeks a skilled Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLCs and control systems in a 2nd shift onsite role in Wisconsin. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, repairing wiring, and upgrading electrical installations to support high-speed packaging lines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial settings, reads electrical prints, and can work with high/low voltage wiring and PLC logic, using scopes and meters to diagnose issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Able to diagnose electrical and control problems from prints and schematics.
• Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, and control wiring.
• Proficient with test equipment including oscilloscopes and meters.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLCs and control systems.
• Inspect and test electrical equipment and power circuits regularly.
• Replace faulty switches and components and repair wiring as needed.
• Install, repair, overhaul, modify, and maintain electrical/mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical plant components.
