Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with operators and manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques and continuous improvement mindset.
• Understanding of industry codes and regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC processors and input/output modules.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Wiring, assembling, repairing, testing, and installing electrical components in the assigned area.
• Operate safely to minimize downtime and follow environmental and safety guidelines.
• Read blueprints and schematics; apply codes and regulations.
• Monitor manufacturing equipment for proper operation; adjust and repair for optimal performance.
• Develop and use procedures and work instructions from manuals and specs.
• Work with and troubleshoot AB PLC processors and input/output modules.
• Diagnose root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Perform electrical work to industry code, including basic transformer and motor wiring.
