Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician/PLC Technician to install, program, troubleshoot and maintain PLC-based systems across our plant. You will follow ladder logic, schematics, and blueprints, and assist in implementing new control projects.

The role requires an Associate degree in electronics or electrical tech, 5 years of journey-level experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and test equipment. Strong safety knowledge and ability to work onsite in shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronic or electrical technology or equivalent experience.
• 5 years journey-level experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance including PLC-based systems, servo motors, and drives.
• Project management experience.
• AutoCAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs.
• Assist in project management and implementation of new control systems.
• Replace faulty switches and other elements of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Install, repair, overhaul, modify and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
• Maintain plant power distribution systems and install wiring/conduit.
