Job summary

StepStone Hospitality is seeking a Security Guard for Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel to protect guests and team members. You will patrol the property, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond to incidents with professionalism and care.

Ideal candidates have security experience, strong communication, and a proactive approach to safety. Second-shift availability is required; lunch and parking are provided as perks.

Qualifications

• 1 year security experience required.
• Security certification is nice but not required.
• Availability for second shift.
• High School diploma required.
• Knowledge of public safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Patrol lobby, corridors, and common areas.
• Confer with management, interview guests, associates, and others to detect infringements, disturbances, complaints, theft, vandalism, etc.
• Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and damaged equipment.
• Warn or eject troublemakers and caution careless persons.
• Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports.
• Notify staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
• Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
• Enter and check rooms of guests suspected of nonpayment to confirm suspicions.
