Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a dedicated team member for the second shift (3PM-11PM, Mon-Fri with overtime) to support a manufacturing operation in Columbus, Indiana. The role focuses on increasing productivity, reducing downtime, and ensuring a safe, efficient plant floor environment.

You will work across the plant floor, assisting all jobs, observing 5S standards, and following lock-out tag-out procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Willing to work second shift and overtime.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste in a manufacturing environment.
• Support plant and facilities-related work and assist all jobs on the plant floor.
• Follow safety rules and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Maintain 5S standards for shop and equipment.
• May need to stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
