Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a first shift production associate to support a manufacturing operation in Columbus, IN. You will work as part of a team to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and maintain safety standards on the plant floor.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, willingness to work overtime and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. PCA offers a starting wage of $20.97 per hour plus a bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to work first shift.
• Must have good attendance.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Experience in packaging/manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a manufacturing operation to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Assist all jobs on the plant floor.
• Follow safety rules and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and equipment per 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
