Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking team-oriented candidates for a 2nd shift manufacturing support role. You will help increase productivity, reduce downtime, and assist all plant floor activities while following strict safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Assist all plant floor jobs and work with production personnel.
• Follow safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for up to 12 hours.
