Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring for a plant floor role to support manufacturing operations, aiming to increase productivity and minimize downtime and waste. You will assist all plant floor tasks and facilities-related work while adhering to safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining 5S standards, following safety guidelines, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
• Must be willing to work second and third shift.

Responsibilities

• Support a manufacturing operation to increase productivity, reduce downtime and waste.
• Assist all plant floor jobs and plant/facilities tasks.
• Follow safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop equipment per 5S standards.
• May stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
