Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator I to safely operate basic powered material handling equipment including sit-down/stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The role focuses on product receipt, storage and order fulfillment with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, pallet building, cycle counts and equipment inspections while adhering to OSHA guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate powered material handling equipment (electric pallet jack, stand-up/sit-down forklift).
• Must meet PPE requirements and work with a strong sense of urgency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks or conveyors.
• Safely lift, transport and stack materials using forklifts.
• Sort products onto pallets to meet customer expectations and wrap pallets as needed.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and complete other duties as assigned.
