Job summary

Cafe Valley, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician for 2nd shift to ensure product safety and quality across ingredients, materials and finished goods.

You will verify raw materials, monitor GMPs, perform CCP and EMP related tasks, input data into the production system, and support FSQA supervision.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and dependable attendance, with a schedule from 12:00pm to 8:30pm.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of college, preferably with emphasis in food science, chemistry or microbiology.
• One year food processing quality assurance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP and FSMA requirements.
• Knowledge of BRC/SQF requirements.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices.

• Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as business needs demand.
• Work within a team environment, treat all with respect, maintain professionalism.
• Walk/stand for 6–12 hours with breaks as needed.
• Enforce GMPs and SOPs related to the food safety plan.
