Job summary

Cafe Valley, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician for the 2nd shift to perform checks on ingredients, materials and finished products, ensuring conformance to specifications. Schedule: 12:00pm-8:30pm.

Role requires conveying data into the system, maintaining GMP/SOP compliance, and assisting with Environmental Monitoring Program swabbing and related QA tasks.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of college in science-related field.
• One year food processing QA experience or training.
• Knowledge of HACCP and FSMA requirements.
• Knowledge of BRC/SQF requirements.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ingredients, materials and finished products for defects and spec conformance.
• Input data into the digital production system, documenting safety and quality.
• Monitor processing equipment for correct function (temperature, humidity).
• Report quality or safety issues to FSQA Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist in Environmental Monitoring Program swabbing and pre-operational inspections.
• Ensure SOPs and GMPs are followed; use PPE appropriately.
