Job summary

Tom's of Maine, part of Colgate-Palmolive, is seeking a Finishing Technician in Sanford, Maine. The role involves filling and packaging natural oral care products, maintaining safety, quality, and productivity targets, and supporting the finishing area with cleaning and maintenance tasks.

This second shift position runs Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with potential overtime or weekend work as needed. A High School Diploma and manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety - Ensure all EHS requirements are met while handling materials and operating equipment.
• Quality - Follow current good manufacturing practices and SOPs, document batch/label/in-process data with accuracy.
• Productivity – Operate workstation to meet production targets with minimal waste and downtime; cross-train for mastery.
• Leadership – Work within a team and contribute to Factory Performance & Reliability projects.
