Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and apply instructions in English.
• At least 3 years as a diversified machinist.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program participation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-ups for production and prototype parts.
• Specify electrode size/configuration and sequence EDM operations without operation sheets.
• Verify set-ups meet operation sheet and drawing requirements.
• Use inspection equipment to maintain tight tolerances.
• Train and supervise EDM Operators.
• Rotate between EDM machines to perform new set-ups or adjustments.
• Operate Surface Grinder to regrind electrodes.
• Set EDM machine parameters for proper machining rates.
• Identify unusual conditions and report findings.
