Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Second Shift Supervisor to lead and support distribution operations on the second shift, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials and customer orders.

You will supervise a team of warehouse associates, drive productivity, monitor KPIs, and partner with cross-functional teams to sustain safety, quality and service. This role is roughly 80% people leadership and 20% hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Experience leading teams, directing work, and managing employee performance.
• Experience monitoring operational KPIs and implementing corrective actions to achieve performance goals.
• Proficiency with WMS, inventory systems, or related technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-shift distribution operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and material flow activities.
• Supervise and develop team members by setting priorities, assigning work, and driving productivity.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and accurate system transactions.
• Promote a safe, organized work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor KPIs, communicate shift performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
