The Second Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting second-shift distribution operations to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials and customer orders. This role provides leadership to a team of warehouse associates while overseeing outbound shipping, inbound receiving, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and overall shift performance. This position is approximately 80% people leadership and 20% hands-on operational support, requiring a leader who can motivate teams, drive performance, manage competing priorities, and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and service.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience monitoring operational KPIs and implementing corrective actions to achieve performance goals. Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision‑making skills. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory systems, or related operational technology preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
