McCormick & Company is seeking a full-time Crew Leader on the 2nd Shift (1:30p-10p, Mon-Fri) at the Zatarain's Plant in Gretna, LA. The role reports to the Team Manager and drives team performance in an HPO environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of manufacturing and/or industrial experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
• Strong teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures overall performance of the team to achieve goals.
• Encourages continuous improvement and daily problem-solving.
• Coaches, trains and ensures compliance with procedures.
• Follows operating procedures and updates as needed.
• Coordinates crew vacation requests and overtime.
• Identifies training needs for staff.
• Ensures product quality and coordinates with QA floor inspector.
• Resolves minor mechanical issues to keep line running.
• Performs tasks of other team members when required.
• Facilitates teamwork and coaching among team members.
• Holds meetings for production tracking and problem solving.
