Job summary

Boeing is seeking a contract lab testing specialist to support critical testing operations in an integrated laboratory environment in Seattle, WA. You will document tests, coordinate system preparations, monitor hardware and test progress, and analyze results while collaborating with engineers and mechanics.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable with hardware systems.
• Experience with mechanical and automotive hardware is preferred.
• Able to collaborate across multiple teams and document findings clearly.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Document tests on products, configurations, issues, troubleshooting, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Conduct system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and teardown
• Monitor tests, hardware, and systems throughout the testing process
• Analyze test data and document results accurately and thoroughly
• Participate in test readiness reviews with engineering teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory and test-related problems
• Coordinate test laboratory activities, maintenance, and repairs
• Provide floor support by checking physical hardware and components being tested
• Monitor and troubleshoot physical hardware systems during testing operations
• Work alongside mechanics to assist with troubleshooting and monitoring systems
• Coach and train other team members as needed
