Job summary

Sargento Foods Inc. is seeking workers to operate cheese production lines in Wisconsin. The role involves managing RDS/brine systems, monitoring equipment, and maintaining clean, safe work areas across production and packaging teams.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or be near completion and may need forklift certification. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus; physically capable of lifting 10–80 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSED required or anticipated completion within 12 months.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate RDS system and brine flume to maintain temperature and salinity.
• Report brine system, string extruders and brine chiller issues to production and maintenance department.
• Set up and inspect work area for cleanliness and readiness.
• Operate string cutters and monitor extruded cheese for weight and length specifications.
• Maintain and document daily cutter operations log.
• Communicate with packaging, production, lab, and sanitation teams about product flow and quality.
• Add salt to the brine system.
• Other duties as assigned.
