Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a dedicated quality inspector to perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of components and finished medical devices. You will use magnifying lamps, microscopes, vision inspection systems, and valve testers to verify conformance with design specifications.

You’ll follow SOPs, enter data into JDE, help train colleagues, and maintain a clean room environment while working Monday-Thursday from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am with a 10%

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of components and finished medical device products using tools such as magnifying lamp, microscope, and vision inspection system to ensure conformance with design specs.
• Perform functional testing of finished medical devices using automated and manual valve testing equipment.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions; record traceable information on device history records and enter data into JDE as required.
• Verify manufacturing documents against component and device drawings; assist with inventory control and storage conditions.
• Potentially train colleagues from other sites and maintain clean room standards; perform general housekeeping.

Your work will involve you optimizing product development to impact patients around the world with pioneering technology.Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30amPay rate: $19.98/hr (you will receive an additional 10% differential for working 2nd shift)How you'll make an impact:• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of components and/or finished medical device products using a wide variety of tools and equipment such as magnifying lamp, microscope, vision inspection system, etc. to ensure conformance with design specifications• Perform functional testing of finished medical device products using both automated and manual valve testing equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications• Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and may enter information into JDE.• Perform verification of manufacturing documents with component and device drawings• May control inventory to ensure appropriate storage conditions and movement• May train colleagues from other sites, including inspection of their work output• Other incidental duties: General work area housekeepingWhat you'll need (required):• H.S.
