Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Utah is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of medical device components and finished products. You will follow work instructions, record traceable information, and ensure conformance with design specs.

This full-time role requires an HS diploma, English fluency, attention to detail, and the ability to work Monday-Thursday 3:15pm–1:45am in a clean-room environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in a team and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of components and finished medical device products.
• Perform functional testing using automated and manual equipment.
• Follow SOPs and record traceable information in device history records and JDE entries.
• Verify manufacturing documents with component and device drawings.
• May assist with inventory and training colleagues.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the work area.

Your work will involve you optimizing product development to impact patients around the world with pioneering technology.Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:15pm - 1:45amPay rate: $19.98/hr (you will receive an additional 10% differential for working 2nd shift)How you'll make an impact:• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of components and/or finished medical device products using a wide variety of tools and equipment such as magnifying lamp, microscope, vision inspection system, etc. to ensure conformance with design specifications• Perform functional testing of finished medical device products using both automated and manual valve testing equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications• Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and may enter information into JDE.• Perform verification of manufacturing documents with component and device drawings• May control inventory to ensure appropriate storage conditions and movement• May train colleagues from other sites, including inspection of their work output• Other incidental duties: General work area housekeepingWhat you'll need (required):• H.S.
