Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Salt Lake City is seeking a Quality Inspector to support the manufacturing of our medical devices. You will perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using a range of tools to ensure conformance with design specifications.

This role operates Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am with a pay rate of $19.98 per hour plus a 10% shift differential. Strong attention to detail, English proficiency, and the ability to work in a team are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, comprehend, write and speak English.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of components and devices with inspection tools.
• Conduct functional testing of finished medical devices using automated and manual equipment.
• Follow SOPs and document traceable information in device history records; may enter data into JDE.
• Assist with inventory control and train colleagues from other sites as needed.
• Maintain clean room conditions and general work area housekeeping.

Your work will involve you optimizing product development to impact patients around the world with pioneering technology.Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30amPay rate: $19.98/hr (you will receive an additional 10% differential for working 2nd shift)How you'll make an impact:• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of components and/or finished medical device products using a wide variety of tools and equipment such as magnifying lamp, microscope, vision inspection system, etc. to ensure conformance with design specifications• Perform functional testing of finished medical device products using both automated and manual valve testing equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications• Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and may enter information into JDE.• Perform verification of manufacturing documents with component and device drawings• May control inventory to ensure appropriate storage conditions and movement• May train colleagues from other sites, including inspection of their work output• Other incidental duties: General work area housekeepingWhat you'll need (required):• H.S.
