Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler Team Lead for the 2nd shift in Richmond, VA. The role leads assembly operations, supports safety and quality, and coordinates with management to ensure on-time delivery of products.

You will mentor operators, monitor production metrics, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining clean, safe, and compliant working environments. The position includes benefits and shift differential considerations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience desirable.
• Lean 6S (5S + Safety) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators to improve quality and productivity.
• Monitor production progress from reports to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide feedback to management to improve safety and productivity.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Demonstrate compliance with safety, attendance, and punctuality guidelines.
• Maintain Visual Management boards and 6S audits.
• Communicate shift status to Production Management and Supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement in assigned areas.
