Job summary

Atlas Copco in New York is seeking an Assembly Team Lead for 2nd shift to drive daily production, ensure quality, and uphold safety standards. You will direct assemblers, coach team members, and coordinate with other departments to maintain workflow and resolve constraints.

Responsibilities include implementing 6S, leading continuous improvement under VTPS, and managing labor data. This on-site role requires 2nd shift hours with opportunities for development and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of assembly experience; 1–3 years in lead or supervisory role.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams.
• Proficient with hand tools and small power tools.
• Able to work 2nd shift, 2:30pm–11pm.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily/weekly output targets, ensuring safety and quality.
• Promote safety excellence and EHS compliance.
• Coach and train assembly personnel to improve performance.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and status across departments.
• Maintain 6S and organized work environments.
• Apply VTPS principles for continuous improvement.
• Lead performance management for direct reports.
• Ensure reliable attendance and teamwork.
