Kokosing Materials, Inc. (KMI) seeks a second shift plant operator to safely run an asphalt plant, order supplies, and manage a plant crew across Northeast Ohio. This role requires occasional travel to other plants to cover time off and project demands.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, coordinating with QC on blends, monitoring production and inventory, and completing plant reports. Safety and customer service are priorities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of asphalt plant operations.
• Strong attention to detail in daily tasks.
• Must have initiative and reliability to perform and assist with additional responsibilities.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts, including weekends, and travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain asphalt plant and construction equipment safely.
• Perform walk-around inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinate with quality control and adjust material blends as required.
• Monitor inventory and production levels; order materials as needed.
• Calibrate plant and supervise plant personnel.
