Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ months animal lab/relevant species handling experience preferred.
• ALAT certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure humane care and welfare of animals.
• Perform basic husbandry, housing, feeding, data collection and weight measurements.
• Administer doses by various methods and assist with necropsy when needed.
• Document and verify data in forms and systems.
• Follow SOPs, GLP, IACUC rules and safety guidelines.
• Learn basic pathology and related functions as guided.
