Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Second Press Operator to support the press room, assisting lead operators with make readies and operating the press per written instructions. You will read tickets for stock and color specs, verify ink matches, and help maintain color accuracy while meeting customer deadlines.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience as a Second Press Operator, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience as a Second Press Operator.
• Ability to read job tickets and follow SOPs.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead operators with make readies and operate press per instructions.
• Read job tickets for stock/color specs and verify ink matches.
• Perform folder set ups and maintain press color/record.
• Execute quality pull sheet procedures and ensure customer specs.
• Follow safety policies and assist with press maintenance.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
