Job summary

Quad in Pewaukee, WI is seeking a Second Press Operator to support printing press operations at our Pewaukee plant. The role involves setting up presses, adjusting color quality, and ensuring output meets customer specifications, with opportunities to train teammates.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of printing industry experience as a Roll Tender, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous skill development.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of two years experience in the printing industry as Roll Tender.
• Understanding of Operations to carry out instructions.
• Familiarity with Safety Program, administration of policies and procedures, directing and dealing with employees, resolving work issues.
• Willingness to update skills on a regular basis to keep abreast of rapidly changing technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing functions to support the operation of printing presses: set up, color quality, and color adjustments.
• Ensure printed quality conforms to customer specification.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on press.
• May assist in training employees and giving general direction to employees assigned to a specific press.
• Provide performance feedback to Lead Press Operators and supervisors.
• Prepare departmental reports.
