Job summary

Valaris Limited is seeking a 1st Engineer Officer to assist the Chief Engineer in providing technical support and maintaining the MODU's operations in safety and efficiency.

The position requires a minimum of four years of Marine industry experience and a degree from a recognized Maritime Academy. Responsibilities include supervising engine room activities, participating in safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years working in the Marine industry.
• 1-2 years of maritime experience as a 1st Engineer Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch.
• Completion of all training and certification requirements for position as described in the training matrix.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safety of crew, environment and engine room.
• Attends and participates in all safety meetings.
• Supervises personnel on watch in the Engine Control Room.
