Job summary

Valaris seeks a Marine Engineer to join our offshore MODU team in Houston, TX. You will assist senior engineers to ensure safe, efficient operation of power plants and machinery on offshore units.

The position requires a Maritime Academy background, a high school diploma, and completion of training/certification as specified. You will be committed to crew safety and operating procedures, with experience in power distribution and machinery maintenance beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must hold a High School Diploma.
• Graduation from a Maritime Academy is required.
• Completion of training and certification requirements per training matrix.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in safe, efficient operation of MODU power plants and machinery.
• Maintain mechanical equipment and manage power distribution on MODU.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow procedures.
