Job summary

Windsor Locks Middle School is seeking a Second Cook to manage the daily kitchen operations under the Director of Food Services. This role assists the cook manager with menu execution while ensuring sanitation and safety guidelines are followed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and ServSafe certification is required and provided by the lunch program. Recertification is required every three years, with a 6:45 am–1:15 pm schedule, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation as Second Cook and assist Cook Manager as directed.
• Receive weekly Sysco grocery order and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Maintain customer relations and perform cashier duties as directed.
