Job summary

The Triumph Group (The Landings Golf & Athletic Club) in Savannah, GA seeks a Second Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to assist in agronomic programs, budgeting, scheduling, and hands-on daily maintenance. This leadership role supports the Golf Course Superintendent across six courses and reports to senior staff.

Candidates should bring strong turf management skills, renovation/project experience, and a GA pesticide license or ability to obtain one; Driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Experience and expertise in golf course maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of pumps, irrigation, and drainage systems.
• Prepare the daily golf course: mowing, setup, tee marker placement, hazard stakes.
• Calibrate sprayers and fertilizer spreaders; assist in chemical/fertilizer applications.
• Inspect turf and grounds; apply pesticides/fertilizers as needed.
• Greet members and respond to their needs proactively.
• Manage inventories and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records of equipment and chemical inventories.
• Train staff and enforce safety policies.
• Follow club policies and safety guidelines.
