Job summary

The Triumph Group (The Landings Golf & Athletic Club) in Savannah, GA seeks a Second Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join a hands-on leadership team. You will assist in budgeting, agronomic planning, scheduling, and daily course care while guiding staff and executing renovations across six courses.

The role demands experience in golf course maintenance, project leadership, and a Georgia pesticide license or ability to obtain one; a BS in turf grass management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading golf course maintenance teams.
• BS or related degree in turf grass management or certs with experience.
• Georgia pesticide license or ability to obtain one.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of irrigation, pumps, and drainage systems.
• Lead daily preparation of the course, mowing, setup, and markers.
• Calibrate sprayers and fertilizer spreaders; assist in chemical applications.
• Inspect turf and advise on pesticide/fertilizer needs.
• Train staff, enforce safety policies, and manage inventories.
