Job summary

Charles River Search is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a global technology company in Westford, MA, focusing on SEC reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls. You will collaborate with Finance leadership and external auditors to ensure accurate financial disclosures and compliant close processes.

You will support 10-Q/10-K, IFRS and GAAP reporting, equity accounting, and proxy disclosures while continuously improving controls and efficiency within a deadline-driven public

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Combination of corporate accounting/close and public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong foundation in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven public company environment.
• Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, XBRL/DFIN, or similar platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy, earnings releases, and SEC disclosures, including XBRL reporting.
• Partner with the monthly and quarterly close teams on financial statements, reconciliations, and complex accounting areas.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and the annual Big 4 audit.
• Research technical accounting matters and evaluate the impact of new accounting standards.
• Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and process improvements.
• Assist with stock compensation and equity accounting.
• Coordinate international statutory reporting under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership, Legal, Investor Relations, auditors, and outside advisors.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen controls across the organization.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $110,000–$120,000, based on experience and qualifications
