Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is recruiting for a SEC Reporting Manager to own external reporting, technical accounting matters, and financial statement preparation. The role offers direct exposure to executive leadership and a path toward broader FP&A and corporate finance leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• SEC reporting experience required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience with Workiva, D365, or similar reporting systems is a plus.
• Proven problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of SEC reporting and filing activities.
• Manage stock-based compensation accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting packages.
• Support technical accounting research and implementation.
• Manage lease accounting activities and related disclosures.
• Review account reconciliations and general ledger activity.
• Assist with process improvements, controls enhancement, and reporting efficiencies.
• Partner with external auditors, finance leadership, and cross-functional business teams.
• Analyze accounting transactions and provide recommendations on complex reporting matters.
