The role will lead external reporting, consolidations, and SOX controls, with direct exposure to executive leadership and the Audit Committee. A CPA with 8+ years in public accounting or industry is ideal.

Qualifications

  • CPA designation is required.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience supporting publicly traded clients strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of external financial reporting and SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly financial consolidation process.
  • Partner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Support SOX compliance and internal control initiatives.
  • Research and implement technical accounting guidance under U.S. GAAP.
  • Prepare presentations and reporting materials for executive leadership and the Audit Committee.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.

Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 Base + 40% Target Bonus

(Total Compensation Approaching $200,000)
