Job summary

Atrium, based in North Fulton County, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee technical accounting and financial reporting processes, write memos, and support the close cycle.

You will serve as SME for GAAP, SOX, and policy related to revenue, leases, fixed assets, etc.; manage external statements and footnotes; coordinate with auditors and corporate finance teams during close cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting or public accounting.

Job description

Atrium is recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager on behalf of a high growth company based in North Fulton County. This person will be responsible for managing the technical accounting and financial reporting process, writing memos, and filing of company financial records. In addition, this person will assist the Director of Consolidations with that piece during the close cycle.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated close processes by analyzing trends, variances, etc.
• Serve at the SME for GAAP accounting protocol, SOX, and technical accounting policy related to revenue, leases, fixed assets, etc.
• Prepare and review external financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Own the external reporting calendar, coordinating deliverables and information flow across corporate accounting, business unit finance teams, external auditors, and other internal stakeholders.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• Workiva, ActiveDisclosure, and/or OneStream experience is preferred
• 5+ years of experience
• CPA is required
• Public accounting experience is a plus
