Job summary

Jobot is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager in Plano, TX hybrid, permanent, with a $140,000–$165,000 annual salary. You will own the external financial reporting process, manage 10-K/10-Q/8-K filings, and coordinate with auditors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA, with 6+ years of public-company SEC experience and strong US GAAP knowledge. Big Four experience and Workiva/XBRL are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting with SEC experience.
• Hands-on with 10-K/10-Q filings and GAAP.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K with supporting footnotes.
• Coordinate filing process with internal reviews, auditors, and XBRL tagging.
• Research technical accounting matters under US GAAP and SEC rules.
• Support acquisitions and complex nonrecurring transactions.
• Maintain disclosure controls, calendars, and SOX documentation.
• Assist with earnings releases and investor materials.
• Identify improvements to accuracy and efficiency of reporting.
