Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a GSF subsidiary, seeks a Warehouse Lead for Seattle, WA, overseeing daily operations on a full-time, on-site schedule. The role combines hands-on leadership with inventory, receiving, and loading tasks in a temperature-controlled environment.

The candidate will coach associates, ensure safety, and drive productivity across shifts while supporting labor planning and process improvements. Weekend/overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse lead or team lead experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (electric pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks).
• Forklift and reach truck certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations and coach associates to maintain productivity, safety and service standards.
• Support receiving, inventory management, order selection, and loading activities.
• Train associates across multiple temperature zones and ensure FIFO and expiration-date compliance.
• Monitor workflow and assist with labor planning and allocation during peak periods.
• Partner with supervisors on special projects and process improvements.
