Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer/Project Manager to join our Seattle, WA team. You will lead multidisciplinary river, hydrology, and flood protection projects, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence across the portfolio.

Responsibilities include managing large projects, delivering quality documentation, building client relationships, and supporting business development while upholding QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in civil engineering or water resources; MS preferred.
• 15+ years as a civil engineer with hydrologic/hydraulic experience.
• 10+ years managing large civil projects in the Pacific Northwest.
• Active PE license in Washington or able to obtain.
• Proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams and deliver high-quality drawings and estimates.
• Strong business development experience and persuasive proposals.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on project management and oversight to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Lead engineering calculation packages and technical documentation.
• Mentor engineers in Seattle office and develop client relationships.
• Serve as technical lead for hydrology/hydraulic analyses and large river projects.
• Develop contract documents, reports, and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with business development to pursue new opportunities.
• Support risk management, QA/QC, and project performance metrics.
