Model Remodel, a Seattle-based general contractor specializing in high-quality residential remodeling, is seeking an Architect to join our team. This role partners with designers, estimators, and production teams to set projects up for success from feasibility through permitting and construction support.

The Architect provides architectural leadership, oversees drawings, coordinates permit strategy, and ensures documentation quality and code alignment across projects.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect with WA State license
• 5–8 years in residential architecture/remodel design
• Experience with permit strategy and jurisdictional coordination
• Proficient in residential construction methods and building codes

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural oversight and documentation quality across projects
• Coordinate permit strategy and jurisdictional review for residential work
• Collaborate with Designers, Estimating, and Production teams to keep drawings coherent
• Guide drawings for functionality, constructability, and code compliance
