Job summary

The Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for Park Place in Seattle, WA. This temporary, full-time role supports ongoing building upkeep, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance in an assisted living community.

Expect responsibilities including unit turnovers within 3 days, painting, inspections, handling work orders in OneSite, after-hours emergencies, and coordination with vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in the maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Skilled with hand and power tools for repair tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Familiarity with RealPage Maintenance Facilities software.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and janitorial duties across buildings.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out.
• Paint and perform preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Assist in apartment and systems inspections.
• Respond to work orders and document in OneSite.
• Address after-hours, weekend, and holiday maintenance emergencies.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor landscape contractor.
• Maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders.
• Keep maintenance shop organized and secure.
• Maintain property security and keys control.
